The AirPods are expected to introduce new models in the future due to consumer preferences for the older, more affordable generation. Apple is reportedly planning to release two new versions in the fourth generation to boost sales.
Next AirPods are expected to come with significant updates.

Apple plans to release two versions of the fourth generation of AirPods in 2024, which will be priced below AirPods Pro with a design resembling a blend of the third-generation AirPods and the Pro model, as reported by Bloomberg.
The upcoming AirPods model, priced slightly higher than the current version but still cheaper than the AirPods Pro, will feature active noise cancellation and speakers built into the charging case. However, unlike the AirPods Pro, the fourth-generation AirPods will not include ear tips.
The upcoming fourth-generation AirPods will introduce a USB-C port, similar to the one found in the AirPods Pro. Apple will also release a new version of AirPods Max with a USB-C port and additional color options, according to Bloomberg.
Introduction and when it can be obtained
The fourth iteration of AirPods “Standard” (TWS earbuds) is anticipated to debut in 2024, with the specific release date still undisclosed. Additionally, AirPods Max featuring USB-C are also slated for release in the same year. Apple is projected to unveil the next generation of AirPods Pro in 2025.
