Microsoft solved the issue for users by utilizing KIR (Known Issue Rollback) without requiring them to uninstall updates or download an additional patch. The company conducted the fix remotely while retaining the corrections made by the previous patch. Restarting the computer can expedite the resolution process, as stated by the Windows developer.

Business Computers’ Group Policy

For corporate computers, the installation of a special Group Policy named “Windows 11 22H2 KB5032288 231029_032011 Know Issue Rollback” is required. It is indicated on the Microsoft page detailing the issues with the KB5032288 update released in early December that a specific Group Policy needs to be installed and set up for devices managed by organizations.

To accomplish this, simply navigate to Settings > Administrative Templates . Details on how to complete this procedure can be found on this Microsoft webpage.

Which Windows computers have been impacted?

Wi-Fi inconsistencies were only experienced by Windows 11 users in versions 22H2 and 23H2 with KB5032288 and KB5033375 updates, while Windows 10 users were not affected by this issue.
