WhatsApp developed a new app for macOS, the operating system of Apple Macs. Initially available for download from the official website, the app is now also accessible on the Mac App Store. It was designed specifically for Apple computers.

WhatsApp’s launch on the Mac App Store was announced by the official WhatsApp profile on a new social media platform. The app is now accessible worldwide on the Mac app store and has been combined with the iPhone app to form a single universal app.

WhatsApp for Mac on desktop can now be found worldwide in the @AppStore.
