What will become of my phone?

If you are unable to buy a newer mobile device or tablet with an updated Android version, the consequence will be the lack of new updates for Google Chrome and Google Calendar.

The Chrome support and Google Calendar discontinuation won’t impact a large number of users, as statistics show that as of June 2023, only 3% of active Android devices were running on Android 7.1, with older versions accounting for just 5% in total.
