Google Maps continuously updates its application with innovations to simplify route planning and navigation. With the integration of artificial intelligence, the app now offers enhanced route recommendations and a more immersive viewing feature for routes.
Routes can be previewed with Immersive View before traveling.
Google Maps offers over 20 billion kilometers of directions daily. Immersive View for Routes, a fresh approach to visualizing each step of a journey, was introduced at the recent I/O conference. The feature is now rolling out in select cities on Android and iOS.

If you plan to cycle around the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, simply ask for bike directions and use the immersive view to visualize your route in a multidimensional way, allowing you to avoid walking in bad weather or heavy traffic.
