Google Chrome 120 will not be available for older Android devices.

Chrome 120 will not be compatible with Android 7 or older versions for mobile devices. It will only be accessible for Android 8 and newer versions starting in early 2024.
Google states the following:
Chrome on Android will no longer be compatible with Android Nougat. Users on Nougat are advised to update their operating system as the latest Chrome version supporting it is Chrome 119.
Chrome 120 won’t work for or be distributed to Android Nougat users.
Google’s business advisors’ schedule is also expected to experience a decline in assistance.
The message will be displayed on devices using Android version 7.1 (Nougat) or older according to TheSpAndroid website.
Google Calendar for Android will no longer be compatible with Android 7 (Nougat) devices in the upcoming version 2023-46-0-581792699, as reported by 9to5google.
What will become of my phone?
If you are unable to buy a newer mobile device or tablet with an updated Android version, the consequence will be the lack of new updates for Google Chrome and Google Calendar.
The Chrome support and Google Calendar discontinuation won’t impact a large number of users, as statistics show that as of June 2023, only 3% of active Android devices were running on Android 7.1, with older versions accounting for just 5% in total.
