What are the requirements?
Running two accounts still necessitates having an additional phone number and SIM card, or a phone that supports multiple SIMs or eSIM.
What are you unable to do?
I attempted to add an account that was already linked to another phone as a secondary account. However, I was unable to have the same account on both the company’s phone and my own phone simultaneously. If I wanted both accounts on my phone, I would have to disable the account on the company’s phone.
There is no way to scan the QRCODE of an account that is already open on another device, essentially the previous test has been completed.
Have you not observed the choice yet?
Some of the smartphones that were tested did not have this feature available yet. WhatsApp is rolling out this update slowly, so make sure to keep your app updated and watch out for this new feature.
WhatsApp has added new features this year, such as the option to conceal private chats, edit messages that have been sent (if done quickly), and support for passkeys on Android. If WhatsApp is not meeting your needs, there are various secure alternatives to consider.
